    Exo-terra forest moss...?

I bought some for a tree frog set up and it's seems fine so far, But I want to know more.

First off, what the real name of the moss is?
How well it grows with other plants in the vivarium, and aquariums?
And will it grow, or is it basically dead and just holds moisture?

let me know your experiences with if (if any).
I wish these things came with better information.. =/

    Thank you.

I believe it is sphagnum moss, and as far as I know, it doesn't grow. Most people use it to hold in moisture and humidity...

I bought a bag once to make a humid hide, however, when I tore open the bag it fell all over the carpet... what a mess

Yeah, Spagnum was all I could find that it might possibly be, would you know if that is in fact what it is?
And I was wonder about the growth (cause more would be nice especially free) and I was wondering if it would rob other plants of nutrients etc, or if it would be fine as bedding with other plants Put into it (with soil underneath or something).

    Thanks for your reply =)

Yeah the stuff is weird and messy =P
