How Long Can Frozen Keep?
So my question is this...how long do frozen mice keep, before they're unsafe to feed your snake? I was looking into buying in a little more bulk to get a better price, however at this time I only have one snake to feed and didn't want them to spoil.

If you vacuum pack them, you should be able to keep them safely for up to a year.

And what if it is just in a big ziplock that gets opened every week to take some out?

I heard that then the shelf-life is around 4-6 months. Maybe somebody else could confirm that?

yea I heard 6 months and then they start to loose some of their nutrients. But then again....I feed live so what do I know..

I read somewhere that they gradually lose nutrient/vitamin content over a 6 month period and then the loss bottoms out. They certainly won't be "bad" after that point as long as they haven't thawed out, but the fresher the better IMO.
