Re: Wholesale, or is it Whoresale, Pricing

GREAT post Colin. I am one of those who WILL pay more for a quality animal. As an example, I just purchased an albino male from Louis Kirkland. We talked on a Friday night before we completed the deal, and he insisted that I wait until after I attended a snake show the next day to be sure I didn't find one I liked better.

Well, there was a beautiful animal for sale, for a little more than $100 less than what Louis and I had discussed. I did look at the animal, held it, and then looked around the table at the multiple species of animals on the table and knew that I was looking at an animal that was being jobbed. I handed it back and said "no thank you". Went home, e-mailed Louis and said "let's finish our transaction now - I want to buy YOUR animal at YOUR price".

I brought my beautiful animal home this weekend!
