Re: Stress!
I'm the same way about rewatching shows thats why I am made for DVDs. I sometimes cook for fun to but cleaning usually cancels that out
I am looking forward to opera being acclimated, fed, and digested so I can handle her. That gives me something to look forward to.

Re: Stress!
One of my stress relievers used to be going for a drive with some good music. Which occasionally backfired of course, but generally worked.
When family allows Ill include Fishing, walking on the beach, or a hot shower followed by some Dean Koontz.

Re: Stress!
I like to ride around town on my bike and listen to music when I'm feeling especially stressed out or upset. At home I tend to space out and procrastinate, and drink...Kinda like what I'm doing right now. Drinking and listening to Bonobo, when I should be doing some major cleaning around my apartment. Darn these addicting snake forums...

Re: Stress!
I used to deal with stress by endlessly cruising around on the internet... But lately that's been boring.
I clean to burn some steam off. Having a small apartment with alot of things makes for a mess, even the day after cleaning. So I clean and organize until I get tired. I always feel MUCH better after everything is nice and clean.
If I had a treadmill at home I'd run... But I'm too lazy to drive to the gym during the day!

Re: Stress!
Meditation*, video games, cooking (which I've recently got back into, and love it), walks (especially at night), and music. Not necessarily in that order, it depends what 'type' of stress I'm suffering from.
* If anybody has ever been interested in learning to meditate, but never thought it was accessible enough to fit into your life, try this great book: 8 Minute Meditation
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
