Question What to breed my BEL with ?

The Bell in question is a female Lesser / Lesser Blue Eyed beauty ...

I am far from breeding her due to the lack of finances for a decent male and of course due to her age / weight .. She'll be ready end of 2011 ..

Now the question of the question - what male shall I get .....

So far on the list of potential males are

    Bumblebees
    Lemonblasts
    Killerbees

Are these possible offsprings correct ?

Bumblebee - 25% lesser, pastel lesser, lesserbee, queenbee
Lemonblast - 25% lesser, pastel lesser, kingpin, emperor pin
    Killerbee - 50% pastel lesser, 50% queenbee

Considering the high prices I am actually more considering a Bumblebee ..

What else is out there (and could potentially bring in some bucks) ?

I would go with a calico, or pastel calico.

To a calico: 2:4 calico lessers, 2:4 lessers

To a pastel calico: 4:16 lessers, 4:16 lesser pastels, 4:16 lesser calicos, 4:16 lesser pastel calicos.

Personally Id breed her to a lesser. You should get some(atleast 1) BELs and the rest will be lessers. You can then trade or sell the off spring and get what you want.

I love bumble bees and they're going to be relatively cheap this coming season, I predict. I wouldn't get a lesser-just hold back any of your males snakes from your first breedings and you'll have your BEL making pair...

I believe what he is saying is that it might be a better option for you to pick a male combo or mutation besides a lesser, then save one of the lesser (or combo) males from that pairing for making more BEL's the next year or the year after that.

yep, that's what I was tryin' to say. sorry it was confusing. Whatever you get, the first offspring will have some lesser in them, and males get up to breeding size rather quickly... you get what I mean.
