What size mice to feed?
We have had a BP that was purchased as a baby a little over a month ago, not sure of the sex, about 2ft long. It is eating like a champ, I have been feeding it frozen fuzzies (Arctice Mice brand if that helps with sizing) and it has been taking one every 2-3 days like it was the first ice cream truck drive-by of the summer. I know standard feeding is on a weekly basis and have been concerned that the fuzzies aren't big enough to provide a weeks worth of nutrition. The mice are just a tad narrower than the snakes jaw width and I am thinking about going the next size up but wondering if they will hurt themselves attempting to swallow something too big. Also the snake seems rather aggressive, it will strike at someone who looks at it through the glass especially right before feeding. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about? It is currently housed in a 30gal tank with a trimmed flowerpot as a hide, fake plants scattered about, climbing branch and a water bowl. Should I make another hide or 2?
Know these questions have probably been asked a million times
Thanks for any feedback

Re: What size mice to feed?
Sounds like a hungry snake! Feed him a mouse or rat that is the same width as the widest part of the snake! Also you can feed 10-15% of the snake weight!

Re: What size mice to feed?
knowing weight would be helpful, in my oppenion get away from mice and feed rats asap. fuzzy mice are to small for hatchlings..... most people i know start hatchlings out on mouse hoppers, or rat crawlers....
