breeding outside of breeding season?
I picked up an 06 female black pastel today.
The guy I got it from was housing it with a male Spider in an attempt to breed.
When I asked about it being kinda early in the year for breeding, he said that sometimes you can get lucky.
I was just wondering if this is actually possible?
Part of me thinks that he was just trying to push the sale (that I had already decided on) by sweetening the pot with the possibility that she may be pregnant and the possibility of baby spiders.
But part of me also thinks that he truly believed that he could have produced babies?
I bought a male 100% het albino male off him a few weeks ago, and the spider and black pastel were being housed together then too.
any input would be greatly appreciated.

you can breed year around. there's no SET time you must breed. Cooler months help more with certain females but its up to you.

It is quite possible. Most people just prefer to breed at set times of the year, but it's only a suggestion, you can breed at any time of year.

Some people plan their breeding to be different pairings throughout the year, that way they are getting clutches year round. I have never done it; but it is possible. Hope you get some babies!

"Kinda early". It is still "breeding season" right now for most breeders BG knows.
