    Are you sure it's air/gas? when was the last time the snake had a bowel movement? That could be another possibility, uric acid balls or retained fecal masses. Also if the "bloating" is occuring around the throat area, that's pretty typical of RI's. Keep snake temps high enough not to cause the animal stress, and keep the snake and enclosure dry. Also see a qualified reptile vet if you haven't already.
