Anyone know a good place to buy one online? i have looked for a decent place but most of them want to sell you a whole kit or they are located over in England.

Do you specifically want a glass tank or an acutal reptile enclosure.

i was looking for something either glass or plastic similar to what i have now. It is clear on all sides and has a mesh top that locks with some heavy plastic tabs, wish i still knew who made it.

Those tanks are pretty commonly found in almost any big pet store. I am not sure what pet stores you have over there but maybe you could find a tank on their website or in their store?

If you are using this for a ball python, I would go with one of those reptile cages from the links I gave. Having the closed off sides and back makes them feel safer and more less exposed. Plus they hold humidity very well.

    Re: Tanks for snakes

Glass tanks can be found most easily on craigslist.org or at WalMart. If you use them as snake cages tho, you want to cover the back and both sides with opaque material and then insulation of some sort, since glass does NOT hold heat on its own.

Also, full screen tops must be covered with plexiglass or the foil treatment to hold the heat and humidity in a tank.
