thanks!
I will be breeding this girl this year. Both of mine came from florida breeders. The Super dwarf should not exceed 8/9 ft and the dwarf retics have been known to get as long as 12/14 ft. My female is still under 6ft and the male is barely over 6ft. The price is not bad for these guys yet but the popularity is increasing so I imagine the price for babies will be bit higher than it was last year. Its not bad though. Hatchlings are roughly $400.00.

You just need to be sure you are getting a super and not just a dwarf. Or worse yet, a normal retic.

The Super dwarf retic are just like the regular ones in personality and feeding response but they are FAST! They can move like a racer and can be very flighty if not handled properly. They stay rather thin like TX rat snake and have the mobility to match. They are so sweet and cool though. Very inquisitive.

The supers have some slight differences in color, pattern, overall look. They have more green coloration. The head is more greenish grey. As hatchlings they look funny because the eyes are way too big for the head. The head is shaped differently than regular retics as well. Its more rectangular shaped. My female is high yellow but they are not usually quite so yellow. The male is much darker. More green and without as much yellow.

For those who want an SD retic just keep looking around and only buy from someone you can trust.
