    To the forum.

    You should be ok. The main thing with Provent-a-Mite is making sure it is dry and fume free before putting your snake and water bowl back in. As you have probably realized, a complete soaking is not necessary. Basically all you have to do is, if you have mites, a thorough misting will work. And if you are using it as a preventive treatment, then a light misting will be fine. It is also good if you spray some on a paper towel or cloth and wipe it around the top edges, ledges and around any vent holes of the enclosure. One can should last you a while. I treat two tubs once a month and a can usually lasts me around 4-5 months...
