NorCal San Mateo show - who's going?
Anyone planning to go to the Show in San Mateo April 10-11? Been waiting for this one, as I moved away from SoCal right before all the good shows down there earlier this year! Gonna be picking up a few new things for sure, cant wait! Who else will be going to this show? Surprised I haven't seen any postings about it on here.

YEAH I can't wait for it. Thinking of getting a baby snow or butter motley corn.
For every 15-foot python out in the Everglades, there are thousands of species of clams, trees, cats, grasses and birds that are wrecking just as much havoc across the globe. So, for all the headaches the snakes are causing, I at least applaud them for being scary enough to get people's attention.

Gotta bump this since it's only two weeks away! My BF and I will be going, and we might try to bring some friends with us! We might try to pick up a female het pied... If the price is right. Other than that, I'll just be window shopping, and planning what to get in the future!

Was thinking about vending, but... not this year.
Have a great time! The one down here in Pasadena was great!

Yes, I plan to go on Saturday and will be meeting up with a friend there too. It should be interesting to see the turnout of vendors, pricing, available animals, etc.

my girlfriend and i have plans on going, being as though this is our first expo. i have a question though, how do you find out who's vending? or if there will be any companies who manufacture snake racks (looking to get a deal on a rack).

There might be some racks, but I'm not positive. You can look at the link that was posted in the first post and they'll have a list of vendors there.
I've only been to one other show (Sacramento) and I don't recall any racks there.

Re: NorCal San Mateo show - who's going?
Judging from my past experience of attending a dozen or more shows, there will be no racks. Occasionally some folks will have for sale - used vision cages, wooden cages or others. They often get snatched up in the early morning on Saturday. Since LLL Reptile will be there, they may have glass terrariums, but their prices were average (they must have high costs on them these days). Basically, don't anticipate any racks or good deals on cages.
The Woodsman will be there, so you will be able to land a great price on some clean baked branches.
You should find varieties of ratsnakes including cornsnakes, various pythons, boas, some chameleons, monitors, tegus, bearded dragons, geckos, most of the common pets, but generally at less cost than pet shops or web fronts (those who sell reptiles they breed or acquired, but they do not have store fronts to display their animals).
I try to be helpful. I hope this helps.

Elise, antonym, you should meet Laura (Lolo76) and I at the CRIS booth at 2:30 on Saturday if you have time. And if you haven't already, join up at calris.org.
