no no no, I didnt use tape or glue or anything. the accurite thermomter that i purchased came with like this sticky adhesive side where your supposed to stick it to test the outside temp.

Wherever the unit itself is measure the inside temp (ambient air temp).

I will just have to go buy ANOTHER lamp dimmer lol. It seams like I have ran to 100 stores and got 100 things to add to my tank/setup in the past 48 hours. This is actually getting pretty funny that I always seam to need 1 last thing lol.

Thanks for your help again man. I am going to run to lowes really fast and pick up another lamp dimmer.

I will post in a couple hours and let you know how the temps are.
