I posted a pic of our new Champagne last week, and made mention of some other additions we made, but was lacking pictures of them. I should have known better with this crowd. Either way, the Pastel Woma was in shed, so I figured I would wait until she was clean. Well she shed, and I was taking pics for some website work, so I snapped a pick of these two girls.

First up is our freshly shed Pastel Woma female. I really needed to add a Woma female to the bunch this year, as I won't hatch any until later this year, and why not get one with something else in there. Here she is in her fresh shed skin.

The next addition we made was a Pastel Het. Super Stripe. I have been needing to get into the Super Stripe project, and with a Pastel Ivory male growing nicely, I figured why not have a shot at a Super Pastel Super Stripe in our first breeding. I have never really studied the Het Super Stripes, and this is the only Pastel version I have ever put my eyes on. The biggest markers that I kind find are: a belly that is very similar to a Yellow Belly, but slightly less dramatic, flames up the sides very similar to a Yellow Belly, and one more thing I noticed, but I don't know for sure if it is a definitive marker, but a Pastel usually has a very white, clean "mustache", and the Pastel Het. SS has a yellow "mustache". You can see the yellow lip in the picture. Here she is, even though she is subtle.

I hope you enjoyed the pics,
