Breeding question

My female ovulated on the 24th of feb and just had pre lay shed today. My question is do the eggs grow bigger during the 30 ish day wait til laying? Because for being gravid my female is definetly not huge like the females I have been seeing lately. Sorry for the Newbie question.

How much does she weigh? How many follicles does she have? Are you sure she ovulated?

Some female will carry their eggs very low, and won't be very round. However, if you took a cross section of the snake, it will look like a tear drop. In other words, the females spine will be relatively pronounced, and the bulge will be under the spinal area. I hope that helps,
