Not sure what my question is but please enter LOL

One of my pastels shed on FEB 1st. She seemed to be glowing at that point but I didnt notice it as pronounced as my last pastel. I have paired her with my pin numerous times since that shed and observed copulation on several occasions since then and as soon as yesterday.. She went off feed on FEB 19 and has refused food since then. 2 nights ago I noticed her laying totally inverted in her tub. Tonight I checked on her and she looks like she swallowed a football. I was just doing a routine check and it really caught my eye how swollen her back end was. I guess my next question is..what do I expect next. Is she possibly ovulating today? Would she have excepted my male yesterday if that was the case? This is my second female goin thru breeding with so Im still exactly unsure what to be lookin for. Any help or advice appreciated

i believe she may be getting ready to lay some eggs! congratulations!

if not getting ready to lay, she's at least on her way. i would keep pairing her with your male.

has she been coiling up in a perfect circle lately?

you might want to check this out:

    Markus Jayne Breeding Guide

this will give you a pretty good timeline/idea of what's going on according to her behaviour.

If the swallowed football is an ovulation the process will generally follow like this.
fifteen days after ovulation she will have her POS or post ovulation shed.
thirty days later she will lay eggs.
sixty days after that the eggs will hatch.
Please keep in mind these dates are GENERAL. Every animal is different but this is generally what to expect.

I have looked at the Markus Jayne web page 100 times lol....sometimes I get more confused but it for sure helps. Hopefukky in a few weeks she goes into shed and off we go! My first pastel this season slugged out so im anxios for this one. hopefully it works out a bit better
