xbox 360 "open tray" error

So here i was last night all excited after watching a couple of episodes of Dexter on Netflix on my Xbox 360 when i entered Battlefield:Bad Company 2 to join my friends party and show online gamers who the real pros are (LOL, J/K, i'm horrible) when i see that the game isn't loading.

I put in the game again, then i tried all my games, and some of my DVDs...MY XBOX ISN'T READING ANY OF THEM!!! It just says "OPEN TRAY" as if there wasnt even a CD or DVD inside....AAAHHHHH THE HORROR!!!!

Are there any gamers amongst us? has this happened to anyone? If so, any suggestions on how to rejoin the gaming world?

Go to Xbox.com, go to help and look up how to clear your cache on your system. After you do this, completely shut off and unplug your xbox for at least 5 minutes. Then try again, hopefully it will cure the problem.
