Flexwatt in a DIY Rack - Question

My sister and I want to build racks and to keep the amount of cords down, we want to use one continuous strip for the whole rack. How do you get it down between the levels?

loosen the shelves and slide it down the side. then tighten the shelf back up

DO NOT screw through the tape. I know common sense. But sometimes it gets missed

Also, does it matter if the tubs sit right on the heat tape?

no. It will wear it down after a while so some people will put aluminum tape on it
