    not that i know of she has two perches in her tub and has never used them that i have seen, but they are there since she is a semi arboreal snake.

    The thing i love about Irian Jayas is that their color gets a lot brighter with age. When that little guy is about 2 years old he will be a killer gold.

    Heres a few pics of her after she shed this week i can already see the color changes, i really need to build a light box so i can take some better pics lol well let me know what you guys think.

    Reptiles always look lots nicer immediately post-shed, but wow, that's a pretty big difference, even allowing for the significant difference in lighting. Looking good.
    Mountain bikes are for slow people, and reptiles are far better pets than cats & dogs!

    mine use their perches at night nearly every night.

    my female also will only strike at prey items off of her perch. When i put the mouse in there she shoots to her perch and then its hammer time.

    another little side note, i switched from large rat fuzzies to small adult mice a few weeks back and they are growing like weeds! the extra calcium from the mature mice seemed to help them grow a ton!

    she just shed again shes growin like a weed!!! this will be her third shed since february when i got her, let me know what you guys think of her color progression so far.
