ok thanks guys, I have to find a store to offer better worms. The stores by me only have meal and wax worms. And of course I bought the two worms that are not good for him, poo. Luckily my brother had a puffer fish who will eat them.

The power sun bulb is heating my tank to 105, so do I still need more heat?

Also, could I possibly put him in a separate enclosure when I feed him crickets?
He is in a 40 gal tank and I just want him to be able to get his food. I bought small crickets but I think they are too small for him he has no interest in them, but that could be from stress. I have only had him 3 days. thanks for the replies. The long one I ended up reading on another website so it just reassured me

oh and one more thing, he keeps shutting one eye but keeping the other one open... is that normal?
