ball python wont eat anything!!

well my ball python is still not eating i even tried live today but he seemed (afraid/not interested of it like with all foods) whats wrong could he be shedding? his eyes are sorta blue but not like a sky blue his color doesn't seem too off tho mabey just around his neck im afraid to bump humidity up to 70 if he isn't shedding any tips?

Check his belly - they get really pink during shedding. If it's only been a week or two I wouldn't worry. My first goes on a hunger strike from Nov. - Mar. every year that I've had her so far.

When you offered him live, how did you offer it? He could be a shy eater and maybe need to be left with the prey for a while. Remember to check on him.

1. some dont like feeding while shedding. Mine do, but some of my friends wont.

2. Are your temps/hides right? If the hides are too big it could be stress. If its not warm/cool enough their feeding could be off. 80-85 one side, 90-95 the other side.

3. How young is the snake? Is the mouse too big? My roomates wouldnt eat the first few weeks he had it. Probably just settling in.

If all else fails try and feed it in its tank. Maybe thats where it feels comfortable and a tub isnt.

thanks for the help i will try live again and yes the temps are right took forever but i got it xD lol im not sure if his belly is pink will check soon once again thanks for the quick response!
