As long as it is clean and not too wet, I do not see that it would cause any problems. If it were me, I would try to get the humidity up to around 35 - 40%. Most of my snakes have shed soon after I have received them, most likely because of stress, so the extra humidity will help.
good enough evidence for me. i misted the tub to give her some humidity and ill be keeping an eye on the paper towels.
