    Hello from KY!

Hey everyone! Like I said I'm hailing from the big KY and I love snakes! I'm 19 years old and me and my girlfriend have just recently acquired a normal BP. This snake has completely changed my views on the species and I can't wait to get another! You all can count on seeing me on these forums quite a bit!

When we first got this BP we really had no idea what to do with him! All we knew was that he was really cool and tame and we fell in love immediately. I have been trying to learn everything possible about these guys so if you see some flaws in my care/setup just let me know!

Also I have read up on the whole feeding method (in enclosure and outside) and I was told to feed him outside the enclosure when I got him so I think that I will keep it that way for now. I don't want to stress him out seeing as he is already pretty used to being fed outside! Also he is a very good eater and I have a youtube video of his first mouse, I'll link it at the bottom.

So anyways! Ciao for now but I'll leave ya with some pics, lemme know what ya think of him (or her, not 100% sure yet). Any questions or suggestions just let me know!

    Re: Hello from KY!

Welcome to BP.net And I do not personally see the need in feeding outside of the enclosure. It is eaiser and less stress on the snake IMO to just open up the enclosure and put the food in with him/her. Is the only reason your doing it because that is the way the person who had him before you did it? Or is this the way you want to do it?
