    popping ? ? ?

    how big does a BP have to be to still be popped?

    i read some where that it should only be done when they are juvinille but im not sure about the infomation?

    You can pop them at any age, but it is easier when they are younger. Once they are adults they are bit difficult to pop so that's why most people will probe them once they have reached their older stages.

    If you do not know how to do it properly you can hurt the animal, so be careful and have somebody show you first. Same goes with probing, you can do a lot of damage if done improperly.

    Like was stated above, you can pop them straight out the egg and adults tend to have more muscle control and will withhold their sex organs, so probing is preferred but it can still be done.

    Yeah no worries. I dont want hurt my snakes.

    Im going to be breeding next year so will have to learn. just wondering if once i have learnt if i can pop my big (apparently) female ball or if i will have to get her probed. Was sold to me as female but you never know till you check.

    Dont worry im not a newb and im a father of two so i will make sure of what im doing first.
