    coco fiber substrateless incubation.

    i cant seem to find vermiculite here. do you think coconut fiber can be used to hold humidity? ill place a light diffuser so the eggs wont touch the substrate. thanks.

    If you can get the light diffuser to sit above the water it really doesnt matter what you use, if anything at all. When using the diffuser it just keeps everything from splashing, so whatever you want to put under it should be fine.

    i would worry about mold. some of my scorpion enclosures get mold in them when i use coco fiber and don't have enough vent holes.

    can you get Perlite with out fertilizer in it?
