    New spider pickup!

    I just picked up this spider about 3 hours ago from a breeder not too far from my home. This is my first bp that isn't a normal. In fact, this is the first BP other than a normal that I have ever seen in person. (Yeah, I don't live in an area with a high concentration of breeders and shows).

    So, here are a few quick pics I snapped of him before letting him snuggle in his tub for the next week.

    nice spider! It looks like he's about to go into shed. he'll be gorgeous when he comes out(not that he isn't now...)

    Wow, how can you tell that from the pictures? I was thinking the same thing though, because I noticed during just the few minutes that I held him that it looked like his skin was a little wrinkley when he was bent and coiled.
