    Thanks guys, thats great advice.. and i was thinking of getting rid of the cardboard tubes altogether.. which i think would've pissed him off.. cos he loves them..

    Or, most of them are put together in a sort of spiral pattern, you could just start pulling at one of the corners and peel it of the snake.

    I use toilet paper rolls in with my corns, and occasionally with the smaller BPs. They seem to love them, and although they get soiled, they are cheap to replace!
