No they aren't all serial killers or rapists and Im sure the majority of the people on craigs list are honest, but it only takes -ONE- bad person. One bad meeting to take a life or atleast cause pain. The point that Im sure they were trying to make is that she is 14 and has no business meeting anyone off the internet let alone of craigs list with its history of scandals.

You probably run into worse people in line at the grocery store.

She obviously should go with her parents, not saying she should wear a bikini and go alone. I'm not an idiot. I generally bring somebody with whenever I meet anyone off of craigslist, just for the safety factor for that 1% and the what if factor. I'm just saying that if she is accompanied I see no issue with checking out the animal in person. Seeing something in the flesh is always better than pictures.
