Why do they have many diffrent types of GTP and why are some more costly than others?
I dont understand what the diffrences are inbetween all the pics of them.
For example: Biak and Jayapura. What is diffrent about them?
Thanks to everybody who can cure my ignorance.
the types are just where they are from, the island they are from or the area on the mainland, look at a map. they are all gtps and without papers to prove the animals was picked up from that island/area or papers proving the parents were from that island/area, the locale people sell them as means nothing anyways. so don't worry about it.

besides canary gtps which are from the Kofiau Island, the rest are pretty much even in price, canary is worth more because they stay yellow for quite a few years, but they do turn green eventually.

pricing mostly depends on the parents theat made the babies and also people put a higher value most of the time on red babies. people can be looking for high yellows, high whites, tri-color, blue line, super blue, melanistic/mite phase and thats just off the top of my head. there are also albino gtps but I don't think any have been offered for sale yet, I would expect 50K+ for one tho.
