    Lemon Pastel PB

Not mine, but could be. He's 7-8 months old, male....how much would you pay for him?

8 month old male that small.. something seems amiss.. I'd have to see the whole snake. But for a good Lemon I would easily give 250.00 -300.00 for a male

Nice looking snake! Most male pastels are in the $75 to $125 range. There are exceptions to every rule, depends on your budget ,likes and dislikes also your current and future plans. Get what you want is the bottom line.

There is no way that little that little BP is 7-8 months old given proper care. It should be much bigger. Unless it has feeding issues for whatever reason.

I paid $200 for my Female Lemon Pastel, and imo she's a great example. Slight reduced pattern, bright yellows, is just starting to barely brown out at 7 months. By the looks of it, she's probly 4x the weight of that guy.

I wouldn't pay any more than $150 max for him.

Emailed him and he replied with

I guess he is healthy, bought him from a breeder...he eats every 4 to 7 days live
Seems like hes healthy. Maybe they just made a mistake on his age

    Re: Lemon Pastel PB

I would give 75-100 with out shipping for that little guy. It also depends on your location as to how much you pay. I bought my male for 75.00 but he was local.

He looks about the size of my 3 month old pinstripe. Maybe a tiny bit bigger.

Hard to tell from the angle of the pic to be honest. Perhaps the hand just looks larger because of the angle, or the guy has massive hands lol.

Hard to tell. Looks like a pretty snake

Contradicting statements. I have a male that is over a year old and is still bright yellow as do some other members on here. Browning out doesn't generally occur for a few years, if its starting already those are bad signs.

To the OP. A good example is worth whatever anyone is willing to pay. The averages for males right now seem to be in the 75 to 150 range. Both male pastels I have had were good examples, I got my second male who was brighter than my first so I sold my first for $100 to a friend.

As for health of the animal, find out how long he has had it, and ask for CURRENT pictures, as those could be old. If he sends new ones that still look like that I would assume he either is just trying to flip it or that it was on a maintenance feeding schedule.

Regardless, she's a good example. I haven't been handling her for quite some time so it could be just my eyes, but I thought it looked like it. She's still pretty darn bright.

Edit: And she hasn't shed in around two months... After she sheds I'll have to post pictures and get everyones opinion. Cuz now I'm curious.
