    If you breed pied x het pied, you'll get all 100% het pieds 50% phet albinos. Hold back all the females and raise them up. By the time they are ready to breed, purchase or maybe by then you'll be able to make your own double het male, and breed him to all the females.

    Even if you don't get an albino pied in the first year, with any luck you will be able to identify some females that are het albino by getting albinos in the clutch, and you already know they are all het pied.
    Thanks Casey..I have the girls at the moment..I will be planning on a clutch or two of double hets next season..just thought with the odds it may be worth a punt..other option is simply producing albinos & hets..I am currently looking to build a half dozen or so of each recessive female into my collection..every thing I will be working with will be linked one way or the other..pieds, axanthics & albinos..will be adding a few more recessives over time & mixing with the spider/pinstripe & black pastel, pastel genes
