leucistic ball pythons
Are leucistic more delicate then normal colored ball pythons and other morphs? Delicate meaning in general health and hardiness.
Thanks Christine

Re: leucistic ball pythons
I don't have any leucistic ball pythons personally, but I have not heard anything to suggest that they may be any less hardy by nature than a normal ball python. Enough have been produced now that people would start to notice that sort of thing, and vocalize about it. The only adverse affect that may be gene-linked I have heard about in leucistic ball pythons is bug-eyes occasionally occuring in blue-eyed leucistics. I haven't heard anything like that for black-eyed leucistic ball pythons.

Mine seem to do just fine. Both are good eaters and active.

Re: leucistic ball pythons
Thanks for the responses. I am thinking about buying one and just wanted to hear from people that owned them if there were any issues.
Thanks again

Re: leucistic ball pythons
My blue-eyed leucistic doesn't seem to be fragile at all. She is very active, eats like a pig and is growing quite well.
