Weight Gain 2 Days After Eating

I weigh my snake immediately before and immediately after it eats. I've noticed that 2 or 3 days after it eats its weight has gone up from the post-feeding weight.

For example, it was 840g on Sunday after eating, and 854g today. On 2/14 it was 760g; on 2/16 it was 768g. On 12/26 it was 558g; on 12/28 it was 570g.

I don't know when the additional weight kicks in since I don't handle Patriot for 2 days after eating, but pretty much without fail the weight goes up a bit. Any idea why?

MMM my guess would be cause they have a rat in their belly..

Look 1 - 30 grams could be that they drank a bunch of water, have a big urates or poop. There's no way to reliably track or even tell where 8 grams comes from..
