    Yes!!! He was also not using his tongue well. My experience has been that if you have a non-feeder who is ALSO not using his tongue -- they will not live on their own. I have lost 5 of 5 such animals. I spent a 6 months on one of them. I do not not think it had a happy-healthy existence.

    My philosophy is that nature is trying to tell me that a hatchling is not meant to live when the above two factors show up together in an animal.
