Twitching ball of an impatient mess.

I am on day 43. Oh Em Gee.

Waiting hasnt been an issue so far, Ive been more or less just enjoying candling the eggs here and there. But here I am, on day 43, fighting back urges to become a surgeon in another 7 days. Im incubating at 90, and day 50-52 is the accepted norm for cuttin when incubating at those temps. I want to wait till the first one pips, but the patience bank is overdrawn and I don't know how Im going to hold off that long. I honestly want to cut for 2 reasons:
    1) To add another notch on the breeding skill and experience bed post
    2) To see if I have recreated my treasured Mojave boy's colors and pattern.

    And thus, a poll.

When should I slice and dice?

I have personally always waited until the first one pips to cut the others.

Never had a clutch, but when I do within the year I plan on not cutting until at least day 53, probably 55. I plan on incubating at 88.7-89.

I would say day 55. I waited last year until one pipped, I will cut on day 55 this year though.

I voted to wait for the pip. Both of my boys were born by sheduled C-sections because my wife had placenta previa with the first pregnancy, so I never got to experience the excitement of rushing to the hospital. Waiting for eggs to pip is the closest I'll come unless I decide to try for a girl oneday(not planning on it).

I usually cut between day 52 and 55.

Just remember everything has risk involved so it is very important that you know what you are doing.

If you decide to cut I highly recommend you to candle each eggs prior to doing it to see where the veins are and to avoid cutting into them.

I wait until one pips, then cut away.

I incubate at 89-90 and my eggs usually pip around day 50-52.
