    That sounds like an indication that she may be ovulating or possibly gravid

    I am not a breeder, but I have read that females will do that sometimes right before they lay their clutch. You might want to see a vet, but I would probably withhold any further meal offerings until you know for sure.

    Oh, and start looking for an incubator and some vermiculite etc... You might need it sooner than you think
