This totally reminds me of a different time that Bandit experienced being around a snake. It was when he was 3 years old and I had a couple leopard geckos and a couple western hognoses. One of the hoggies got out of the cage and I didn't know it. I was sitting at my desk typing away on the internet when Bandit came to me and dropped my "hair tie" on the floor by my feet and looked at me. I said, "it's okay, thanks Bandit, I'm busy right now." Yes, I talk human to animals. :p He meowed to me so I looked down... yipes!! He had picked up the snake from where he found it and brought it to me. Amazing thing is that even though this cat likes to eat bugs, he didn't hurt the snake at all. The hognose was playing dead too. Poor thing... but that's what happens when you sneak out of the house.
