If you only have one available room then quarantine isn't really possible in your case so your either ''all in'' or nothing I'm afraid.

I mean I norm keep the cabinet closed or crack alittle with a towel over the opening. I put a lamp inside for "light" and shut it off at night. Nothing that I use in that area is used or put near the rack or my other snakes.

Some people just do not have the ability to quarantine as effectively as others. You are left with a choice of never getting a new animal, or just QTing as best as you can.

If/when you get new animals, always be especially careful where you get them from, look them over very carefully before you bring them home, etc. Also, look into other possibilities you may not have considered. Do you have a friend who could QT your new animals at their house? Even if it stayed at their home for only a few days, it would be better than nothing. Normally, I'd say an animal you got from your friend should still be QTed when you brought it home, but a friend that has no other reptiles would seem like a reasonable QT location if you have no other options.

I don't trust other ppl with my reptiles. To them they are just stupid objects that have no meaning or value they are just what they are, reptiles that should be in the wild not as a pet. I might look into keeping the gecko at my girls place in a 16 qt for 3-5 days and see how the little girl is doing.
I'll be sure to check the her over very well before she is brought in the room.
