    Bleeding Snake

My gfs snake shed and it appears to have bled from her cloaca. There are blood stains on her sheded skin. Can anyone identify what the problems is? From what i can see there are no abscess in the cloaca.
couldn't get a good enough shot of the cloaca, here is the shed. The blood is about halfway down the skin.

It is normal during shedding to have a little bit of blood from the cloaca. If it was only a little I would not worry.

This happened to Adalae when she was younger. It wasn't anything worth worrying about.

Completely normal, as the shed from inside the cloaca also comes out.

ditto to everyone else....but I can understand the scare. You also might see that there is some dried blood around the heat pits as well. Again...totally normal.

think of it like a sunburn..........someone told me that a while ago and it stuck with me. (no pun intended)
