    A corn and a cat...

I don't usually let my cats near the snakes, but I was playing around with my new camera, and Cyrus decided to butt in... don't worry, I've had this cat for 10 years & know his temperament very well! Anyway, here are some cute shots I got of Scout the corn & Cyrus the Persian:

And a gratuitous solo picture of Scout...

Nice pics! Kind of reminds me of the pic in this thread:

Although your cat looks a little more angry and a little less curious!

I think Scout is very pretty! Love the zigzag pattern.

It looks like you are using some sort of carefresh-like bedding. I've never tried it, personally, but a lot of people recommend against it because apparently it can be quite dusty which can cause respiratory issues.

He always looks angry... it's a Persian thing, LOL.

Thanks! He's actually an "Aztec reverse okeetee," whatever that means. Still pretty small, but his orange is finally starting to come in - I can't wait to see how he looks in about a year.

Unfortunately I have no choice, since I'm allergic to wood-based beddings... tried the highly recommended aspen, and my sinuses couldn't take it. I use flat newspaper for my pythons, but the corns who like burrowing get Carefresh. Personally I love the stuff, and nobody's had a respiratory infection yet!

Awwww... Popcorn looks just like my cat Kona!

Kona is very pretty also, but her colors are not quite as rich (or the lighting in the pic is not quite as good).

To be fair, Kona's an old lady now (almost 13), and her colors were much richer back in the day... But yeah, Popcorn is beautiful!

Pretty kitty! They sure do look alike, they even have similar dirt-on-the-lip marks. I think my guy might be a ragdoll or burman? I have no idea as he was feral, my friend caught him in a colony living at Washington Mutual. For a while he was going by "WaMu." LOL

I believe you that Kona has changed in color. It took about 2 years for Bandit's dirt mark to come in. Did Kona's markings get darker from when she was a kitten? Bandit's coloring was very light when he was young... this picture is the same cat.
