By the time you are ready for marriage, the terms husband and wife may well not have such strict definitions as they do now. Besides, who cares what your partner calls you, or you him, so long as you're both happy with it?

Point being I will not be a man from any state, marrying a woman from any state, so the whole thing isn't really built for me I guess. I know I have seen this with South Dakota in the joke before ...
