    Uh oh.. What is this??

I just woke up to go do some house work when I noticed my ball python out. I went up to his tank to say 'hi' when I noticed something amiss..

    ???

I thought he did a poop, but I looked underneath his hide and saw nothing (but few, tiny urates). I then took him out thinking he had belly rot, I checked along his tummy and nothing. Clean and white. But I noticed along the sides of his body he was feeling a little rough. Brown flakes where scattered on my fingertips. I don't see blood or any loose scales. He looks fine but what looks like poop smeared across his body that has dried out and starting to crust or something. I smelled it, but it doesn't smell like anything. I've never seen this before. Could this could be the sign of why pennyworth has been skipping a meals? I hope he isn't sick.. What do you guys think? I'll try and post more pictures on his side, but it is really hard to see.

its hard to tell what it is from the pic. how old is he? where did u get him from? last shed? he may be skipping meals cuz of the breeding season if hes old enough. could be an internal parasite issue. if he shed recently he may have been a lil rough on himself. maybe its just a lil poop that came out with his urates and he slithered his way thru his own poo.

I had him for a year, but If I had to guess, I'd say he is around maybe 2 years old. I got him from this mmom and pop exotic pets store. He weighs around 715g. I think it is poop because I saw some poop hiding way in the back of the tank. So I just cleaned the tank out same with the accessories. He seems ok right now. Man, I need to relax, lol.
