Like was already stated, the weight is more what will determine the clutch size.
And just a pointer.... 18 months doesn't necessarily mean 1500g. I had a female hatchling from last year (09) hatch in April and by december she was 900 grams, I recently sold her. But being as she was an awesome feeder, I could've easily had her up to 2000+ by 18 months.
And likewise I picked up two females from someone that had been feeding them mice only, their entire lives. they were both approx 6 years old and one was 900g and the other 1050g. Now with proper sized prey they are up to 2600+ and 2400+ grams respectively.
Just a couple examples that age has nothing to do with weight.
