    big ball little mice

so this Tuesday will be the 4th time I've feed my ball since I bought her and she's roughly 10 months/11 months old...I've been feeding her f/q arctic mice (the medium sized ones which Ive been told are hopers) well im out of hoppers. well my dad ran some food up to me from home (live up at college in off campus apartment) and he bougth a box of the arctic small mice (not fuzzies but not hopers) and when i said to him "i need hopers" he said thats all they had

so here's my question, can I feed her two (i feel like this answer is a yes,so lemme ask ) HOW do I go about feeding her two?

    thanks

    Yes you can.

Just feed her one, then wait til she's done swallowing, then offer her another one.

now when you say offer, you mean

    1. hold 1st one with tongs...she takes it
    2. she eats the first one
    3. when finished, offer the second one same as the firsT?

    Re: big ball little mice

do you mean rats...or is it mice??? The only reason I ask is because hoppers are really small for a 10 to 11 month pyton. Mine is only about 6 months old and on jumbo mice right now. ??

At that age she should easily take rat pups or even small rats. I'd say slowely get her up to that size and you'll be fine.

    Re: big ball little mice

I just switched to 2 live rat pups, back to back and mine is 7 months old. I was surprised when she went for the 2nd one for the first time. She's still a bit small for small rats. Just offer the same as you do the first, a few minutes after she's done with the first.

    Re: big ball little mice

You need to step up the prey size, at least rat pups, probably small rats really
