    Thumbs down What do belly pics show?

    I seen a few pictures that people post specifically showing the belly of their snakes. What does that show? or whats the purpose?

    Males:

    Its supposed to show characteristics of say Yellowbellies, and some say there are markers showing your snake is HET for Pied on the belly.

    People show the belly shots mostly to show off the fact that they are indeed clear, white bellies. This is one of the easiest indications of a morph, but not always the case, and not every snake with a clear belly is a morph either.

    Some het pieds are known for their "railroad" black ticking near the tail/vent area and YB are known for their yellow ticking on the sides of the belly.
