    Reptile forums

Wow it seems everyweek another pops up..Wonder why ?? Does Joe blow get his feelings hurt or kicked off one and decide to start one ?? IMO we don't need an excess of..We came here BP.net for 2 reasons, one it has a blood section and 2 it has ALOT of traffic..A lot of traffic means lots of looks and opinions and encourages folks to participate..Not to mention we have the desire to introduce folks to the short and thick side of the world....
    One happy camper..

This happens with every subject under the Sun. I own a 74 Nova and you'd be surprised how many forums are dedicated to the Nova. There are only a few worth joining, but there are over a hundred. Whatever the subject find a forum that best suits you and stick with it.

Yep. Same with tech forums and microsoft forums and video game forums and dog forums and chupacabra forums and any other thing you can think of.

I'd just be inclined to think folks would want to be part of a large and powerful team rather than spreading things so thin that they go un noticed..
But then I thought I was hip and cool but the daughter says I'm old and outdated..

    Re: Reptile forums

This is a specialty forum. I definitely see purpose in single-species forums. Granted this one does have areas for other animals, but they get light use here--the focus is on ball pythons.

I do agree there isn't much purpose for other non-specialty forums, there are already several large ones out there.
