Trip to EBV... tons of pics!

Today I took a drive out to East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley (where I actually bought my first snake, Delilah), since I had a glass/wood terrarium to trade in. They gave me $75 store credit, so of course I spent it on a snake... which I'll tell you about in a minute. In the meantime, here are the photos I got with my iPhone - for anyone around here who hasn't been, it's definitely worth a visit!

P.S. I won't bother trying to identify each animal, since I'll probably get a few wrong.

Her baby was scared of the turtle, LOL

(I've never actually seen them charge for petting)

I do know this one - a Sulphur Monitor

Entry for this month's HOTM, perhaps?

Hard to tell from the pic, but this was one of the biggest boas I've seen!

Thanks. I'm thinking of calling him "Kipling," after the author of Jungle Book - Kaa was too obvious, LOL.

And what do you mean by your first sentence? Is a retic actually a boa? Guess I'll restate that and say "it was the biggest BCI I've ever seen!"

Yeah. The sentence may be misplaced where you say thats "the biggest boa you've ever seen". But where it actually is placed, you're referring to a tiger retic.

Very cool, and congrats on the Carpet! Yeah, you just misplaced the description of the boa as it's a couple of pics down.
