    Escape artist

I made the mistake of leaving the clamps off my 55 gallon tank when I left the office yesterday...

Came in this morning and picked up hide #1.... no snake.

Picked up hide #2.... NO SNAKE.

I went ballistic for about 60 seconds looking all over the place, wondering where he could be in this huge office. Then I saw him, hiding under some papers on top of my mini fridge

He was freezing, and was very happy to get back in his warm tank. I won't forget to clamp his enclosure again! I guess I can understand how I ended up finding him behind a coke machine now!

I bet the people that work with you would have been thrilled to have a ball python running around.

    Re: Escape artist

I put my little boa in a small tub on a suggestion that it would somehow convince him to eat. Not only did the humidity jump up to 85%+ and the temperature to 95F+, but he also pushed up a corner and got out. Found him on top of the rack, chilling out.

He liked it up there too, did not want me pulling him off it or sticking him back in this cage (not the tub). When I checked the extremes on the acu-rite, it said 105F. I was like gack, no wonder he pushed his way out.
