    Re: Pit bull Pics

There is not a more loving, loyal, wonderful dog in the world as far as I am concerned but, they do require good owners. They can be very high strung animals and left to their own devices can be destructive and stressed.

I never had any worries at all with Pete by my side. No it was not a matter of thinking I had a bad ::::: dog. It was a matter of knowing that my dog loved me more than anything else on the earth and he would put his life on the line with absolutely NO hesitation if I was in danger. He proved this on two different occasions. Nothing more than him showing the person who was threatening me that HE MEANT BUSINESS was needed.

I will miss my Pete until the day when I get to hold him in my arms again. He sorta ruined me for any other dog. It isn't as if I don't love my dogs, I do. But I gotta say, Pete, well, he was just the worlds coolest dog.

ive owned other dogs but was raised mainly around the bully breeds and i can honestly say no dog has ever compared to my bullys. They are the most loving animals ive ever had the pleasure of owning. Both were rescues and i love them more than anything. Moe is just shy of 3 years old and the big girl with the smile turned 6 in October. Im going to get that picture of her smiling tattooed on my back from top to bottom. Ive been around a lot of bullys and not one has came close to her personality. I can honestly say she is the favorite in the house and every1 that meets her falls in love with her.

oh what pretty babies. Pete used to sit on my lap and then fall back so he was laying in my arms like a 45 pound baby. I love that big ole cat fish head.

Our dog Toda. So he's mix (3/4 Pit Bull 1/4 German Shorthaired Pointer). He is by far the BEST dog my fiance or I have ever had! We also own a Boston Terrier and we just adopted a Great Dane.

She was little over a year old, had signs of recently having a litter, and had obviously been fought as she was torn apart. Took her to the vet to get stitched up, and had a pyrometra scare. She was very skinny, and very shy. With the exception of me and my gf at the time, she would not come near anyone. She would cower in the corner. But with us, she would act like a cat and lay across your laptop or do whatever was necessary to impede your work so you could spend more time with her. She never showed aggression, except to those wearing baseball caps. Bad idea. Very bad idea wearing baseball cap around her. Nowadays she'll go up to most anyone, as long as your not an african american over 200 lbs wearing a cap. She's still not all too friendly to people of that description. But to everyone else she acts like a baby, so the name stuck. For a college student, I have many many animals, and alot of responsibility, but few are a rewarding as she is.
If only there were more people like you in this world!! We use to raise pit pups and they were our babies. Now we have 3 bostons and an olde english bulldogge. But we are looking for another pit. I'd like to rescue one rather than buy a purebred. But thank you for rescuing that lil girl!!!!!
