    calibaro python

    My local pet store in minnesota with small section of reptiles
    has a calibaro python any one know of this type of
    snake. very strange looks to be a ground snake
    head and tail look almost the same tiny eyes
    they are not even sure if thats what it is could be a ground boa of somekind
    thanks much
    2 ball pythons (snakeman) and fred the snake
    3 bearded dragons
    7 turtles

    I always found it interesting it was called a "python" despite not being in the pythonidae family.

    Closer related to the boas. Pretty cool snakes. I might get a pair here pretty soon.

    The Calabar python is native to central and west Africa. It is a fossorial species much like the sand boas. It will need more humidity as it burrows in forest leaf litter and soil.
